Instructions

  1. Mix the apple pie filling and cinnamon together in a bowl.
  2. Place a few spoonfuls of the apple filling into each tortilla and roll tightly.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the taquitos seam-side down until golden brown on all sides.
  4. Toss each taquito in sugar after frying.
  5. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

For a healthier twist, consider using whole wheat tortillas or homemade apple filling. These taquitos can also be baked at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes instead of frying.
