A refreshing blackberry margarita recipe made with fresh berries, tequila, and lime juice. Perfect for summer!
Ingredients
1/2 cup fresh blackberries
2 oz silver tequila
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz triple sec or Cointreau
1/2 oz agave syrup (optional)
Ice
Salt or sugar for rimming (optional)
Lime wedge, mint, or blackberry for garnish
Instructions
1. Muddle the blackberries in a cocktail shaker until juicy.
2. Add tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and agave (if using).
3. Add ice, shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
4. Double strain into a glass with fresh ice.
5. Rim glass with salt or sugar before pouring (optional).
6. Garnish with lime, blackberry, or mint.
7. Enjoy immediately.
Notes
Use frozen blackberries if fresh are unavailable.
For frozen margaritas, blend all ingredients with 1 cup ice.
Jalapeño slices add a spicy kick.
Top with sparkling water for a lighter variation.
