Description

Delight in the comfort of mini smoked sausages wrapped in bacon and coated in a sweet brown sugar glaze, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Little Smokies (mini smoked sausages)
  • 1 package regular-cut bacon (cut in half)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • Black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Wrap each Little Smokie with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  3. In a zip-top bag, toss the bacon-wrapped smokies with brown sugar to coat. Spread on the baking sheet in a single layer and sprinkle any leftover brown sugar on top. Optionally add black pepper.
  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes until bacon is crispy and sugar is caramelized. Broil for 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness if desired.
