- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced (white and green parts divided)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, garlic powder, white parts of the green onions, and sour cream until well combined.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar and ½ cup of mozzarella, reserving the remaining ¼ cup for topping.
- Fold in the hot sauce and shredded chicken.
- Transfer the dip to an oven-safe dish, spreading it evenly, and top with reserved mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Broil for an additional 1-2 minutes for a golden top.
- Sprinkle with remaining green onions before serving.
Notes
For a milder dip, adjust the hot sauce amount. This dip can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
