Description
A comforting dish featuring seasoned steak tips and creamy rigatoni, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Cajun-seasoned steak tips
- 8 ounces rigatoni pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the rigatoni. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add rigatoni, and cook until al dente. Drain and reserve some cooking water.
- Brown the steak tips. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add steak tips, and sear until browned to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
- Create the creamy sauce. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, add heavy cream, and simulate. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Combine and serve. Toss rigatoni in the sauce, add steak tips, and stir until coated. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with whole milk. Mix and match ingredients by adding vegetables.
