Ingredients

  • 1 pound Cajun-seasoned steak tips
  • 8 ounces rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add rigatoni, and cook until al dente. Drain and reserve some cooking water.
  2. Brown the steak tips. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add steak tips, and sear until browned to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
  3. Create the creamy sauce. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, add heavy cream, and simulate. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine and serve. Toss rigatoni in the sauce, add steak tips, and stir until coated. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with whole milk. Mix and match ingredients by adding vegetables.
