Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add in the flour, oats, salt, and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Pour the caramel sauce over the pressed mixture and sprinkle chocolate chips over the caramel.
  6. Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the chocolate chips.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool completely, slice into squares, and serve.
