  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9 × 13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage or alternative in a skillet until browned and fully cooked.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large bowl.
  4. Spread the cooked sausage across the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the sausage.
  6. Arrange the frozen tater tots evenly atop the cheese.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the entire assembly.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese generously over the top.
  9. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes until the eggs are set and tater tots are golden brown.
