Warm and cheesy Chicken Alfredo served in crispy, buttery bread bowls, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 pieces Chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 1 pound Pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
- 6 pieces Kaiser rolls
- 1 jar Alfredo sauce (about 15 oz)
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- 3–4 teaspoons Garlic and herb seasoning
- 1/2 cup Shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Season cubed chicken breasts with garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add chicken, and cook for about 6-8 minutes until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, boil water in a large pot, add pasta, and cook according to package instructions. Drain well.
- Slice the tops off the kaiser rolls and remove the centers to create bowls. Brush insides and edges with melted butter mixed with garlic and herb seasoning.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake bread bowls for 4-5 minutes until lightly toasted.
- In the skillet with cooked chicken, add drained pasta and Alfredo sauce, stirring until well combined. Fill each bread bowl with the chicken Alfredo mixture, topping with shredded parmesan cheese.
- Return filled bowls to the oven for another 4-5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley or red pepper flakes and serve hot.
Notes
Don’t overcook the chicken to maintain moisture. You can prep chicken and pasta ahead for an easy meal.
