These Easy Chicken Caesar Wraps combine the classic flavors of a Caesar salad with the heartiness of cooked chicken, creating a cozy, handheld meal that’s perfect for busy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup neutral oil (such as vegetable or olive oil), plus more as needed
  • 1 large head of romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 4 extra-large burrito-sized wraps

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Butterfly chicken breasts and season flour with salt and pepper.
  3. Dip chicken in seasoned flour, then into beaten eggs, and finally press into panko-parmesan mixture.
  4. In a skillet, heat neutral oil over medium heat and cook chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. In a bowl, toss together chopped romaine, croutons, shredded parmesan, and Caesar dressing.
  7. Let chicken rest, slice into strips, and assemble wraps by layering salad and chicken in each wrap.
  8. Roll wraps tightly and serve.

Notes

For lighter wraps, consider using whole wheat breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes. Chicken thighs can be substituted for juicier flavor.
