A delicious Chicken Cordon Bleu recipe that is simple to make and perfect for family dinners.

- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 4 slices of turkey bacon
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter or oil for frying
- 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place each chicken breast between sheets of plastic wrap and pound to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
- On each chicken breast, lay down a slice of turkey bacon and a slice of Swiss cheese, then roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- Set up a dredging station with one bowl of seasoned flour, another with beaten eggs, and a last with breadcrumbs.
- Coat each chicken roll first in flour, then dip in egg, and finally roll in breadcrumbs.
- In a skillet, heat butter or oil over medium heat and fry the chicken rolls until golden brown on all sides (about 3-4 minutes per side).
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F or 74°C).
- For the creamy sauce, mix together Dijon mustard and heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat until warmed and combined.
Notes
You can prepare these rolls a day in advance and bake them when ready to serve. Feel free to try different cheese or add herbs for variation.
