  • 1 head broccoli, cut into bite-size florets
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil (or vegetable oil)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, minced

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: Slice the beef against the grain into thin strips, mix with soy sauce, peanut oil, and cornstarch, and let it marinate.
  2. Prepare the Broccoli: Steam the broccoli in a skillet with water until bright green and tender-crisp, then set aside.
  3. Cook the Beef: Heat peanut oil in the skillet, sear the marinated beef until charred, then add garlic and ginger. Stir in the broccoli.
  4. Make Sauce: Mix chicken stock, apple juice, soy sauces, and brown sugar; pour into the skillet and stir until thickened.
  5. Serve: Transfer to a plate and enjoy hot over rice or noodles.
