Description

Delicious and easy-to-make bite-sized cinnamon roll treats transformed into French toast.


Ingredients

  • 1 can cinnamon rolls (pre-made or homemade)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for frying)
  • Maple syrup (for serving)
  • Powdered sugar (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the cinnamon rolls into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Dip each piece of cinnamon roll in the egg mixture and place in the skillet. Cook until golden brown on all sides.
  5. Transfer the cooked bites to a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until puffed and cooked through.
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup and dusted with powdered sugar.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to two days. Freeze cooked bites for longer storage.
