- 1 cup breadcrumbs

- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the lean beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onions, salt, pepper, and eggs in a large mixing bowl.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard in another bowl.
- Spread the glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake for about 1 hour or until cooked through.
- Let it rest before slicing.
Notes
Don’t overmix the ingredients to avoid a dense loaf. Use a meat thermometer to ensure perfect doneness at 160°F (70°C). Consider making ahead and storing it for up to 5 days in the fridge or freezing it for 3 months.
