- ½ cup whole milk

- ½ cup all-purpose flour (for streusel)
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for streusel)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your muffin tin.
- Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Combine with the dry ingredients gently.
- For the streusel, mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl, then add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
- Fill muffin cups and sprinkle streusel on top. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute half of the butter with applesauce or Greek yogurt. Use milk alternatives for a dairy-free option.
