Description

A comforting Cowboy Casserole that combines savory ground beef, creamy cheese, and crispy tater tots, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey for a lighter option)
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite blend)
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes, draining any excess fat.
  3. Add cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet, stirring until smooth.
  4. Pour the beef mixture into a greased baking dish, layer with corn and cheese, and top with tater tots.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until tater tots are golden brown.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Customize with extra veggies or different cheese for variation. Make ahead for easy meal prep.
