- 8 Hawaiian rolls
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 pound ground chicken sausage
- 4 strips of crispy turkey bacon
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground chicken sausage until browned, then set aside.
- Add the turkey bacon to the skillet and cook until crispy, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs with salt and pepper, then scramble them in the skillet until fluffy.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and layer the scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and cheddar cheese on the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
- Place the top halves of the rolls on and bake for about 15 minutes, until the cheese melts and tops are golden brown.
Notes
Don’t overcook the eggs; keeping them slightly undercooked will maintain their fluffiness. Feel free to experiment with different fillings and cheeses.
