  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped (optional but recommended)
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons)
  • ½ cup chicken broth (or water for a lighter option)
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, parsley, and dill; then add lemon juice, chicken broth, and heavy cream, stirring to create a smooth sauce.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, coat in sauce, cover, and cook for 8-10 minutes to absorb flavors.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a plant-based alternative. Feel free to adjust the spice level by modifying the amount of red pepper flakes.
