- 1 lb ground beef (or chicken thigh for a leaner option)
- 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, or your favorite type)
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken soup)
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes, then drain excess fat.
- Add the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef and mix well.
- Spread the beef mixture in a greased baking dish, layer corn, then cheese, and finally arrange tater tots on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until tater tots are golden brown.
- Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a healthier option, substitute ground beef with lean ground turkey and cheese with low-fat options.
