  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased bundt pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine diced apples, vegetable oil, and granulated sugar until well mixed.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually mix into the apple mixture, then add eggs and vanilla, stirring until combined. Fold in nuts if using.
  4. Pour batter into prepared bundt pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. For the glaze, melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan, stir in milk, and bring to a boil.
  6. After baking, cool the cake for 10 minutes, then drizzle the glaze over the top and serve.
