Description

Heartwarming beef and cheese sliders that are perfect for game day gatherings, bursting with flavor and comfort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 slices of cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Optional toppings: pickles, mustard, or your favorite sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and cook for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  2. Increase heat, add ground beef, and cook until browned (6-8 minutes). Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, then remove from heat.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice slider buns in half and place bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  4. Spoon beef mixture onto bottom buns and top with a slice of cheese. Cover with top halves of the buns.
  5. Brush melted butter on top of the sliders and bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbling and buns are lightly toasted.
  6. Let cool slightly, then serve warm.

Notes

Substitute with lean ground beef or turkey for a healthier option. Experiment with different cheese varieties.
