- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Onion
- 8 oz Mushrooms
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 6 oz Swiss Cheese
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 4 pieces Hamburger Buns
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley (optional)
Instructions
- In a frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add minced garlic and mushrooms, stirring until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper. Mix in Worcestershire and soy sauces, then stir in Dijon mustard. Remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the beef mixture with sour cream and beef broth until well mixed.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the beef mixture, sprinkle half of the cheese, then cover with the remaining beef mixture. Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
Notes
Feel free to swap ground beef for turkey or plant-based meat. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for 3 months.
