Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs (like Oreos)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • A few drops of green food coloring
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • ¼ cup melted chocolate
  • Whipped cream (for garnish)
  • Chocolate shavings or chips (for garnish)
  • Green sprinkles or edible glitter (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs with the melted butter and mix until well-coated.
  2. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to set.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add peppermint extract and green food coloring, adjusting to your preference.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  5. In the chilled crust, spoon half of the peppermint filling and drizzle half of the melted chocolate over it. Swirl the chocolate into the filling.
  6. Add the remaining filling and repeat the swirling process with the remaining melted chocolate.
  7. Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and green decorations.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Notes

Chill the cream cheese beforehand for a smooth filling. For non-dairy, substitute cream cheese and whipped topping with alternatives.
