- 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs (like Oreos)
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- A few drops of green food coloring
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
- ¼ cup melted chocolate
- Whipped cream (for garnish)
- Chocolate shavings or chips (for garnish)
- Green sprinkles or edible glitter (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs with the melted butter and mix until well-coated.
- Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to set.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add peppermint extract and green food coloring, adjusting to your preference.
- Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- In the chilled crust, spoon half of the peppermint filling and drizzle half of the melted chocolate over it. Swirl the chocolate into the filling.
- Add the remaining filling and repeat the swirling process with the remaining melted chocolate.
- Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and green decorations.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Notes
Chill the cream cheese beforehand for a smooth filling. For non-dairy, substitute cream cheese and whipped topping with alternatives.
