Description
These juicy, savory burgers combine cheddar cheese with ranch dressing and turkey bacon for a perfect bite at summer barbecues or weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ lb ground chuck (or ground turkey, chicken, or lean meat of choice)
- 3 Tbsp sour cream
- 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
- ⅓ cup cooked and crumbled turkey bacon (or chicken strips, or omit)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Hamburger buns (whole grain or gluten-free)
- Lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo (for toppings)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, turkey bacon, and cheddar cheese. Mix until well blended but avoid overmixing.
- Form the mixture into six evenly sized hamburger patties, pressing a small dimple in the center of each.
- Preheat your grill over medium heat. Grill the patties until they reach your desired doneness, using a meat thermometer for accuracy. Let them rest for a few minutes before serving on hamburger buns with your choice of toppings.
Notes
For lighter burgers, substitute ground chuck for ground turkey or chicken. Yogurt can replace sour cream for a tangy twist.
