- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Slice each chicken breast in half horizontally and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute.
- Add heavy cream, scraping the browned bits, and whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes to combine flavors.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust seasonings to taste. For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a non-dairy cream.
