Description

A cozy, creamy pasta dish that brings warmth and flavor to family gatherings or busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb Italian sausage (or substitute with beef, chicken, or venison)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the Italian sausage until browned and cooked through, draining any excess fat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and add Italian seasoning, bringing to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Toss the cooked rigatoni into the sauce until well coated, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Allow the sauce to simmer for best flavor; leftover rigatoni can be refrigerated and reheated.
