Delightful tacos made with tender chicken, crispy wontons, and vibrant slaw, perfect for any mealtime.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil, divided
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix (cabbage and carrots)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken: Combine chicken with teriyaki sauce, 1/2 tbsp sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Cook chicken: Heat skillet and add remaining sesame oil. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Prepare coleslaw: Mix coleslaw, green onions, rice vinegar, honey, and remaining sesame oil in a bowl.
  4. Fry wontons: Heat oil in a frying pan and fry wonton wrappers for 20-30 seconds on each side until golden and crispy.
  5. Assemble tacos: Fill crispy wontons with marinated chicken and coleslaw. Garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro.
