Description

A natural and affordable dandelion lotion recipe using infused oil, shea butter, and beeswax for soft, hydrated, glowing skin.

Ingredients

Scale

1/4 cup dandelion-infused oil

1/4 cup shea butter

1/4 cup beeswax pastilles

1 tbsp coconut oil

510 drops essential oil (optional)

Instructions

1. Pick fresh, unsprayed dandelion flowers and dry them thoroughly.

2. Infuse the dried flowers in oil for 2–4 weeks or gently warm for 2 hours.

3. Strain the oil and set aside.

4. Melt shea butter, beeswax, and coconut oil in a double boiler.

5. Stir in the infused dandelion oil and remove from heat.

6. Add essential oils if desired.

7. Pour into molds or jars and let cool until solid.

Notes

To make a soft lotion, increase the infused oil and reduce the beeswax.

Add magnesium flakes while the oil is warm for a calming variation.

Store in a cool, dark place. Lotion bars last up to 6 months.
