- 1 sheet Puff Pastry (thawed)
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
- 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (or Monterey Jack)
- 1/2 cup Sliced Jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
- Dipping Sauces (ranch, sriracha mayo, or honey mustard, as needed)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder. Stir until well blended.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into strips. Place a tablespoon of the filling at one end of each strip, fold over, twist, and place on a baking sheet.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C), whisk the egg for an egg wash, brush over each twist, and bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
Notes
For a lighter option, use reduced-fat cream cheese. Adjust jalapenos based on spice preference.
