- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cans crescent roll dough
- ½ cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). While the oven warms up, peel and core the apples, then cut them into quarters.
- Take each apple quarter and wrap it snugly in the dough, placing them in a greased baking dish.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan, then stir in the sugar, water, and cinnamon until combined. Pour this mixture over the wrapped apples in the baking dish.
- Bake for about 35-40 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown and the sauce is bubbling.
Notes
