Ingredients

- 2 cups egg noodles (not cooked)
- 1 pound ground beef (lean)
- 1 onion (cut up)
- 2–3 garlic cloves (cut tiny)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian spices
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups beef stock
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the ground beef and onions over high heat, breaking the beef apart until browned, about 10 minutes.
- Add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian spices. Sprinkle in flour, stir, and cook for 2 more minutes. Slowly pour in beef stock and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Mix in the cooked noodles and season to taste.
Notes
Feel free to substitute whole wheat noodles or lean turkey. Add mushrooms or bell peppers for a flavor twist.
