Ingredients
1 can crescent rolls
1 pound mild breakfast sausage
6 large eggs
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray
2. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, then drain excess grease
3. Spread the cooked sausage evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish
4. Unroll the crescent rolls and layer them over the sausage, pressing seams together
5. Pour the beaten eggs evenly over the crescent roll layer
6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top
7. Bake for about 30 minutes until the casserole is puffed and the cheese is golden and bubbly
8. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving
