Description

A nostalgic chocolate tart featuring a crunchy Oreo crust, velvety chocolate filling, and fresh raspberries, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups Oreo crumbs (about 24 cookies)
  • 6 Tablespoons (85 g) butter, melted
  • 1 ¼ cups (300 ml) heavy cream
  • 2 cups (12 oz) good-quality bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 pints (about 4 cups) fresh raspberries
  • Confectioners’ sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with the melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch tart pan. Bake for 10 minutes and let it cool completely.
  2. In a saucepan, warm the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled crust, spreading evenly. Gently press raspberries into the filling. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality chocolate and allow the tart to chill completely before serving.
