Easy Halloween Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft, chewy, and festive with chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles. Perfect for Halloween parties, school events, or cozy nights in!
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup Halloween-themed sprinkles
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cream butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
3. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
5. Stir in chocolate chips and sprinkles until evenly distributed.
6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
7. Bake 9–11 minutes until edges are golden.
8. Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
Notes
For softer cookies, bake until edges are golden but centers still soft.
Mix in white chocolate chips or nuts for variety.
Use themed sprinkles for different holidays.
Variation: Swap chocolate chips with butterscotch chips or add dried fruit.
