Description

A delightful peach cobbler recipe that is simple, comforting, and perfect for sharing with family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • One 15 oz. can of sliced peaches in light syrup, drained (or fresh peaches)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the melted butter into an 8×8-inch baking dish, swirling gently to coat.
  3. Combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  4. Gradually add the milk, stirring just until combined into a batter.
  5. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish without stirring.
  6. Evenly distribute the drained sliced peaches on top of the batter.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for a warm, spiced flavor. If desired, a plant-based alternative can replace the butter for a dairy-free version.
