- One 15 oz. can of sliced peaches in light syrup, drained (or fresh peaches)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the melted butter into an 8×8-inch baking dish, swirling gently to coat.
- Combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
- Gradually add the milk, stirring just until combined into a batter.
- Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish without stirring.
- Evenly distribute the drained sliced peaches on top of the batter.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Notes
Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for a warm, spiced flavor. If desired, a plant-based alternative can replace the butter for a dairy-free version.
