Description

A simple yet flavorful marinade for perfectly grilled salmon, combining savory soy sauce, honey, and Dijon mustard.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the soy sauce, olive oil, honey, garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl.
  2. Place the salmon in a resealable bag or shallow dish, pour the marinade over it, ensuring it is coated. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat, discard the marinade, and grill the salmon for 4-6 minutes on each side. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use tamari or coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. Customize with herbs or adjust spice levels to taste.
