Instructions
- Season both sides of the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chicken thighs and brown for about 5 minutes on each side. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté for 3-4 minutes until fragrant.
- Sprinkle in flour and stir, cooking for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk, stirring until smooth. Bring to a low simmer.
- Nestle the chicken back into the gravy, cover, and simmer on low heat for 20-30 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs over rice or mashed potatoes.
