A playful twist on a classic favorite, these Football Rice Krispie Treats are perfect for game day gatherings, combining fun and deliciousness in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 10 oz (about 5 cups) mini marshmallows
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate or candy melts (melted)
  • ½ cup white icing or melted white chocolate (for laces)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat and stir in the mini marshmallows until completely melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and pour in the Rice Krispies cereal, gently stirring until every piece is coated.
  3. With greased hands, shape portions of the mixture into football ovals or press into a greased pan and cut out later.
  4. Dip each shaped oval into the melted chocolate, coating generously and letting the excess drip off before placing on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Once set slightly, pipe on white icing or melted white chocolate to create football laces.
