Description
Delightful pull-apart bread shaped like a football, filled with gooey mozzarella and a buttery garlic herb mix, perfect for game days or gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- Pizza Dough (store-bought or homemade)
- Mozzarella Cheese (cubed)
- 4 tablespoons Butter (melted)
- 3–4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Mixed Herbs (Italian seasoning, oregano, or your favorite)
- Marinara Sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the rolled-out dough into small squares, about 2–3 inches each. Place a piece of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square and gather the edges around the cheese to form little balls.
- Arrange the dough balls in a football shape on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Melt the butter and mix it with garlic and herbs, then brush over the dough. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Warm the marinara sauce and serve with the pull-apart bread for dipping.
Notes
For added flavor, mix in diced pepperoni or chopped greens into the cheese filling. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
