- Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese (cut into cubes)
- 2–3 cloves garlic (minced)
- Fresh herbs (like parsley or oregano)
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- Marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Let store-bought pizza dough sit at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into 2-inch squares. Place mozzarella cheese in the center of each square, wrap the dough around, and roll into balls.
- Arrange the cheese-stuffed dough balls in a football shape on a lined baking tray.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add garlic and herbs, stirring until fragrant. Brush over the dough balls.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving with marinara sauce.
Notes
Feel free to use different types of cheese or herbs for added flavor. Leftovers can be stored wrapped in foil for up to three days.
