Description

Delightful sliders filled with tender beef, caramelized onions, and melted provolone cheese, perfect for family gatherings and weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 small soft slider buns
  • 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • Horseradish sauce, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and slice slider buns in half, placing bottom halves in a baking dish.
  2. Layer roast beef, caramelized onions, and provolone cheese on the bottom halves of the buns.
  3. Place the top halves of the buns over the filling. Melt butter, mix in garlic powder, and brush over the tops of the buns.
  4. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  5. Heat beef broth in a saucepan for dipping.
  6. Serve warm with beef broth for dipping.

Notes

Caramelizing the onions slowly enhances their sweetness. Use closely fitting baking dishes to keep buns together.
