- 12 small soft slider buns
- 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- Horseradish sauce, to taste
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and slice slider buns in half, placing bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Layer roast beef, caramelized onions, and provolone cheese on the bottom halves of the buns.
- Place the top halves of the buns over the filling. Melt butter, mix in garlic powder, and brush over the tops of the buns.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
- Heat beef broth in a saucepan for dipping.
- Serve warm with beef broth for dipping.
Notes
Caramelizing the onions slowly enhances their sweetness. Use closely fitting baking dishes to keep buns together.
