Delightfully easy tips for perfect French macarons that are beautifully crafted treats perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 150 grams sifted super-fine almond flour
  • 180 grams powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 120 grams large egg whites (at room temperature)
  • 60 grams granulated sugar
  • 4 drops liquid-gel food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Vanilla Buttercream Frosting or your choice of filling

Instructions

  1. Prepare your piping bag and dry ingredients.
  2. Whip the egg whites to perfection until they form stiff peaks.
  3. Combine and create the macaron shells by folding in the dry ingredients and piping onto a baking sheet.
  4. Allow the macarons to dry, then bake in a preheated oven at 315°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
  5. Let the shells cool, fill with your desired frosting, and sandwich them together.

Notes

Make sure the almond flour is super-fine for the best results and use room temperature egg whites to achieve a fluffier meringue. Adjust food coloring as desired.
