- 1 package stove top stuffing mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup French onion soup
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or mozzarella)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the ground beef, stove top stuffing mix, water, diced onion, and half of the French onion soup in a large bowl.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Pour the remaining French onion soup over the meatloaf.
- Bake for about 1 hour, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
For leaner options, substitute ground beef with turkey or chicken. Allow the meatloaf to rest after baking for juicier slices.
