Description
A comforting and flavorful skillet meal featuring ground turkey and tender potatoes, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Sauté the aromatics by heating olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
- Brown the turkey by adding ground turkey to the skillet, stirring occasionally until browned.
- Add the diced potatoes, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to coat the potatoes, then pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Cover the skillet and cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Allow the onions and garlic to cook properly for deeper flavor. Use evenly sized potato pieces for even cooking.
