Halloween Themed Pizza

  • Author: Emma
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 1 pizza (8 slices)
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

This Halloween-Themed Pizza is a fun, customizable way to celebrate spooky season. Start with a frozen or cauliflower crust, then add ghost-shaped cheese and olive “spiders” for a delicious, kid-approved centerpiece that’s as playful as it is tasty.

Ingredients

Plain frozen pizza or Caulipower pizza

Sliced mozzarella cheese

Black olives

Pizza sauce (optional)

Daiya Cheeze Lover’s Pizza (alternative)

Miyoko’s Vegan Mozz Ball (for vegan version)

Instructions

1. Bake the pizza according to the package directions.

2. Remove the pizza from the oven.

3. If desired, spread extra pizza sauce over the pizza for a spooky red tone.

4. Using a ghost-shaped cookie cutter, cut ghost shapes from the sliced mozzarella (or vegan mozz).

5. Slice half of the black olives into halves and the rest into thin strips.

6. Use small pieces of olive to make dot eyes and a mouth for each ghost.

7. Arrange the cheese ghosts on the pizza and add the olive dots for faces.

8. Place olive halves and strips to create spider bodies and legs.

9. Return the pizza to the oven for about 5 minutes to melt the cheese ghosts slightly.

10. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

Serving: Serve hot as a party centerpiece; cut into fun shapes or classic slices. Pair with salad and Halloween-themed drinks.

Storage: Cool leftovers; store in an airtight container in the fridge 3–4 days. For longer storage, wrap tightly and freeze; reheat in the oven.

Tips: Get creative with toppings (peppers, mushrooms); check labels for a fully plant-based version; let kids help decorate; use themed plates for extra fun.

Variation: Add pepperoni, cooked sausage, or jalapeños for spice; swap cheeses as you like; try other spooky cookie-cutter shapes (bats, pumpkins).

FAQ:

1) Different cheese? Yes—use any cheese that cuts cleanly into shapes.

2) Gluten-free? Use a GF crust or Caulipower pizza.

3) No ghost cutter? Freehand with a knife or use other shapes like stars or bats.
