Description
A simple and delicious recipe for warm, gooey ham and cheese sliders that bring family and friends together.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 slider buns
- 12 slices of cheese (Swiss or Cheddar)
- 12 slices of smoked beef, turkey bacon, or chicken strips (your choice)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, and garlic powder. Stir until well combined and set aside.
- In a baking dish, place the bottom half of the slider buns. Layer each with a slice of smoked beef, followed by your choice of cheese. Add the top half of the buns gently, and pour the butter mixture evenly over the sliders.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and place it in the oven. Bake for about 15-20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until they’re golden brown and cheese is melted.
Notes
For extra crispy tops, broil the sliders for the last minute or two. These can be made vegetarian by replacing the meat with roasted vegetables.
