Ingredients

  • 1 (30 oz) bag frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • 1 cup cooked beef bacon, crumbled or smoked chicken strips
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese with the milk until smooth. Fold in the cheddar cheese, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  3. Fold in the frozen hashbrowns and crumbled bacon or chicken strips until evenly combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy. Let it sit for a few minutes to set before serving.
