  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Hershey’s Kisses chocolates

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the lined baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set.
  6. Press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie and let sit for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
