- 1 lb ground sausage (mild or spicy)
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (10 oz) can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies), drained
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground sausage until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream, mixing until smooth and creamy.
- Add in the drained Rotel, cheddar, mozzarella, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne (if using), and season with salt and black pepper. Fold in the cooked sausage.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
Notes
For a crispy finish, top with additional cheese or breadcrumbs before baking. Customize with sautéed veggies or fresh herbs for added flavor.
