- 1 cup apples, peeled and diced
- Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

Instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients: Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar in a bowl.
- Prepare the wet ingredients: Whisk milk, eggs, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
- Combine wet and dry: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently. Fold in diced apples.
- Fry the fritters: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, frying for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Finish with powdered sugar: Dust with powdered sugar while warm, if desired.
