- 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Create a breading station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in a second bowl, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a third bowl.
- Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the breaded chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Lightly spray or drizzle with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For extra crunch, consider double breading. You can prepare the tenders in advance and store them in the fridge until ready to bake.
